As your strategic partner, a coach empowers you to reach your goals and live your life to it’s fullest. A good coach is not your advisor, therapist or friend. We do not give advice. We know you hold the answers to your own destiny and as a coach, we empower you to figure out your destination. A coach is an objective and non-judgmental supporter meeting you where you are and providing information for you based on where you are coming from.
Ethical standards are what make a coach trustworthy. Often coaching conversations involve personal and intimate details of your life so it’s important to know that time sent with a coach is private and only between you and your coach.
As a member of the International Coaching Federation(ICF), Melissa is held to the highest standards in coaching. The ICF Code of Ethics describes the ICF core values, ethical principles and ethical standards of behavior for all ICF Professionals. And can be accessed here:
The International Coaching Federation is the “gold standard“ for life coaching. This organization is the world leader offering quality and ethical coaching practices. Membership in ICF means that a coach offers a quality product, upholds the strictest ethical standards, and has a minimum of 60 hours of classroom training.
